I am a current resident here at Riverchase and I don't understand these comments made. I realize that everyone gets upset sometimes but I find it amusing that some of the comments that people make are coming from current residents. I have been extremely happy here for a while and if I was that upset, I would move. The staff is always very friendly, and maintenance gets stuff taken care of quickly. It seems that this is always just a place for someone to say hateful things because one thing did not go their way. I LOVE LIVING HERE!!!

All I have to say is WHATEVER to this last review. Look at the evidence here! There is obviously more negative than positive here. I did live at Riverchase and I did move. This is a sight warns unsuspecting people looking for GOOD places to live. This would not be one looking atthe evidence. I would not recommend anyone to live there and I agree and sympathise with everyone who told their horrifying experiences here.

We have had major problems with maintenance issues. The upstairs water heater has burst twice. The maintenance workers did not properly install the new water heater after the first incident, causing a pipe to burst. Our apartment was flooded and has significant water damage. When I approached the Manager about this issue, she didn't even know it had been flooded the first time! Management was unwilling to accept responsibility for the maintenance mistakes that caused the burst pipe. Management promised a new unit to us, in writing; but we found out a few days later that unit was rented to a new tenant without letting us know. We were offered a partial discount for moving expenses - available to us only AFTER we moved into a new unit. On top of all that, we still had to pay a full-month's rent for our current apartment, in spite of the flood damage and major inconveniences we experienced. Our carpet was wet for over a week. Much of our clothing was moldy and had to be thrown out. Some of our belongings were water damaged. No compensation. No sympathy at all from management. We didn't even get a damn apology! Management comitted to making repairs to our apartment that were never completed. Sheetrock has not been replaced. Carpet hasn't been replaced. The paint looks horrible b/c of the water damage. The whole apartment smells musty. We would be happy to move to a new unit, but management will not assume financial responsibility for it. They expect us to pay to move into a new unit, which we will not do. In addition, we have complained multiple times about a neighbor's dog, but the problem has only gotten worse. I have stressed, time and time again, what an unbearable annoyance this is to us, but no significant action has been taken. It seems as if it is impossible to get management to follow-up with us. Several times in the past month, my wife and I have called and left messages and not recieved a return call. On several occasions we have spoken with members of management who commit to calling us back at a certain time and do not. The absolute inflexibility and seeming lack of concern demonstrated by management is infuriating, to say the least. The management and groundskeepers here should be ashamed of how they handled our situation. I am sure there are tenants here who haven't had the misfortune of dealing with these sorts of issues. I'm glad their experience has been good. Our experience with this apartment complex has been absolutely horrible.
