Don't waste your time or money

Years at this apartment: 2004 - 2004
My husband & I moved in after our wedding last year. The apartment was very nice. It wasn't what we were promised. However, the paperwork was lost when we signed the lease. That should have been our first clue that something was wrong.
Of course we expected the typical parking and noise problems that come from living in apartments. And we never had a bug problem. Our other problems were MUCH worse.
We paid our pet fee and every time we had a problem with the apartment they were shocked that we had a dog. The greatest part of this is the maintenance men are afraid of a 12 year old peek-a-poo who can hardly even see.
After Hurricaine Ivan we had water damage and it still wasn't fixed when we moved out.
The stairs to our apartment were shakey. Our kitchen sink had so many problems that we found it easier to use our bathtub for water than the sink.
Parking is a NIGHTMARE!! The staff lied to us about our parking situation. In fact the day we moved in there were two little fender benders behind our cars.
The hours are not consistent and the staff isn't either. They change the rules randomly and no one at the building is capable of letting anyone out of a lease. Apparently no one in charge of the apartment is either.
The only way that any of our problems got fixed is because we turned in a huge list when we were going to move out. We still moved out. It's a complete waste of time and money. Everyone I've talked to who has lived there has agreed. I have even shared my problems with the advertisers where we found the apartment. I think anyone who has written wonderful reviews of this place must be on staff or in their family or being paid. P0MtU6TIdDkM23RTonAS
