It hasn't been easy

This is hard because I have been living here for over 2 years and I think the staff is really sweet, but I do agree that things could be A LOT better. I have a massive hole in the bathroom that was poorly patched up a year ago when water leaked in from an upstairs washing machine and the maintainace accidently put their foot through it fixing our toilet.

Also, we have an extensive amount of water damage and water seeps in our bedroom window that has never been fixed. B/c of the water damage, we lost a computer and had to clean out our whole storage area.

Other than the pantry being so incredibly small (and what's with the bar I always have to reach around'), a mouse ran across my kitchen WHILE I WAS STANDING IN IT! I'm not the only one in my complex who has seen a mouse lately, BTW.

Also, we had our toilet overflow and so many other toilet problems that have never been fixed.

I also don't like being stared at every time I go to get my mail. I don't like being hooted and hollered at either by -------- you just try to be friendly with, or have to ignore for fear of your safety.

Also, I spoke to the neighbors myself, that in building 5, a Crystal Meth lab was found a year or so ago and just recently an apartment was ransacked early in the morning by the police. Also, there is a neighbor who has had to call the police twice in the past two years for fighting in the apartments and streets.

I know it's an apartment, and I have been loyal, but now I know I don't want to have kids in a place like this. It's worth a house payment to us, to move.

Besides, who wants to hear what's going on in every other apartment around them'

Also, the rent KEEPS GOING UP! I signed a contract to ONE price, not a price that keeps going up in $30 increments.

Another reason I don't feel safe is that when we got here, there was a security entrance, but it kept either getting broken or taken down or my key didn't work, and now I'm paying around $700 for NO security what-so-ever.
