I left my apartment very clean. When I moved in, the agent told me all I needed to do was to putty up any nail holes from hanging pictures, etc because they re-paint anyway. I did all of that, vacuumed, cleaned bathrooms, but they never returned my deposit after several calls (I had moved out of state so there was no visiting the office. Other than that, my experience there was o.k.
