You won't get your deposit back

I left this dump at the end of July and I never got my deposit back of $200. They said the deposit was $300 and since I didn't pay the extra $100, I wasn't entitled to get my $200 back.
Suffice to say that the incompetent managing staff never informed me my lease was $300 and on my lease it said $200, they made up their B.S. to keep up the money.
I just gave up after numerous calls there. Anyone who is moving there, PLEASE DONT MOVE THERE.
And for the statement of illegal -------- being there, I'm not saying they are illegal but they seem to a be lot that live in a one bedroom apartment.
