I also lived there in 2005 and when you first check this place out you think it is great. They lied about the gated entry saying it was messed up by Hurricane Katrina and they would have it fixed ASAP. never was fixed. also i think most of the people living there are section 8 subsidized. while we were paying like $800 to live in an apt there were like 17 people living the apartment below for free probably. For real, there were a lot of people that lived/stayed at that apartment. A van would come at like 5 am and park outside and honk until they all piled into it to do who knows what. Pretty bad experience. The management team is a pretty dishonest group.

If they are of Mexican descent, many of them pile into a van and go to Lorna Road, and wait for somebody to pick them up, for day laborers, because they are illegal.
