My experience at Royal Oaks Apartments parallels with the comments of the other reviewers. I had the unpleasant opportunity over two and a half years to observe the demise of a once nice place to live, but now seem to be a reservoir of dreadful living conditions. The apartment management is lazy and unconsciously interacts with the needs and complaints of the tenants. The apartment management portrays a condescending attitude toward the tenants and behaves as though they are doing a favor rather than a service when maintenance requests are made. Furthermore, new tenants that are permitted to join the apartment community seemed to be spawned from hell. I dont believe that background checks, character judgment etc. are processed before renting. I do not want to be misunderstood; I do not believe in discrimination of any sorts, but I believe that the management is responsible for the quality of new tenants entering the apartment community, seeing that they will affect the harmony of the apartment community. Loud music from cars, loud neighbors (including domestic violence); tenants allowed to produce dirty surroundings that affect other tenants (without reprimand), defecation of tenants pets on the sidewalks collectively persuaded me to leave this apartment complex never to return as a tenant. I don not recommend this apartment complex as a suitable place to live.

I totally agree with this description. The management is lazy and does not know the meaning of service. Plus, they continue to raise the rent as the condition of the actual property goes down.
