What a HORRIBLE experience

Years at this apartment: 2005 - 2006
I really thought I was going to like living at Royal Oaks, but it didn't take long to figure out I was wrong. The apartments come with the option of a porch swing (a nice addition) so I asked for one, and asked...and asked, you get the picture. While waiting on the swing, my mantle fell off of the wall so I asked to have it fixed, and asked...and asked...until I finally finally fixed it myself.
I have a shower leaking in the master bedroom bath and I called and asked to have it fixed, and asked....and asked...until they finally showed up with the swing and then replaced parts in the wrong bathroom. I called and told them this and until I moved out in January 06, never heard back about the shower.
In the meantime, the water heater started leaking (never fixed it) the scum and villany they let live upstairs from me started playing fetch with their dog until 4 in the morning, and parking became a nightmare.
When it came time to renew the lease, they wanted to raise the rent almost fifty dollars. After all of that. I still haven't heard anything about my deposit and it is February 11th, 2006. Not that I haven't called, they will not return my calls.
Here's the clincher; I only lived there a year. It was the year from HELL. Save yourself some trouble and commit a crime and go to prison, it has to be better than Royal Oaks Apartment Homes (and the tennants they are letting move in now will be about the same.)
