I absolutely loved this apartment complex. Not only was it new but it had everything that my fiancee and I wanted when looking for our first place. The apartments are brand new and everything is decorated perfectly. What we did not realize were all of the problems that we would encounter during our stay. First we moved into our complete building while construction was still continuing. No problem, right'' Well one morning all of our building doorsteps were repaved without any notice or even a knock on the door. So when leaving at 9am I sank into wet cement and my dog who ran out with me tracked cement into the apartment. The apt offered to refund me but not fixing carpet. Then one day the construction crew hit a water main at 9:30am. They didn't inform us of the break but said they were doing maintanence and needed to cut off water. Our water was off for 24hrs in our building. Yet the most insulting part besides not being told it would be off overnight was that if you opened our doors, our grass was being watered. Then the worst part came. Our building was infested with mice. After complaining to the apt complex we were given batches of mouse traps to place around our apartment. We were told that pest control officials were coming out put were never given an update. Finally after going back and forth for months we are terminating our lease!!! The sad part is we have only lived here for five months. Also as a side note, this complex is advertised as gated but the gate does not work and the complex has resorted to just leaving it open.

Me and my Fiance' moved in a month ago and it is absolutely the most beautiful and relaxing place i have ever stepped foot in, i am 23 and have lived in two other apartment complexes in Hoover and those don't even compare to these apartments at the springs! I absolutely love it and i have never seen the gate open, not once. We have to use our remote to get in everytime....and i have seen no mice yet, so im not sure what these complaints are about, the construction well that is something you have to expect when moving into apartments that are brand new and not finished!!! Bottom line, I love my place!!!!!!!!

I will be ending my lease in March, I too have had a rat & snake infestation with not resolution from the staff but mouse trapps. There will be four more tenants to be moving out also in the next three months. The Springs has bad management and needs to be replaced with someone older and wiser in decision makeings.
