The bad thing is the train! That stupid train comes by about once every 3-4 hours,if not more. It rattles my windows and is really loud, wakes me up every night at least twice. There is also a problem with parking. Lots of people have a floater garage, but from what I have seen, some use it for only storage. There is a rule in the lease that states only one car per adult, per apartment. This is not enforced,AT ALL. They came up with this idea for parking stickers. If you didnt have one, you got a warning, and then towed. And visitors can park by the clubhouse. That's not enforced either. And the gate is always broken. It is left open during the day,all day, to "ease the flow of traffic" and the exit gate has a tendency to get stuck and you can't get out. Or,it gets stuck open, and people come in through the exit. And I can't tell you how many times I have had to park 3 buildings away from my apartment for people who either dont live here or dont have a parking sticker. It would be nice if these rules were actually enforced. And I dont know about the other buildings, but mine, is NOT quiet.

Before I moved here I was well aware of the train, it's unavoidable! Sure, maybe it wasn't very logical to build a top of the line apartment community next to an active train track, but if you decide to live here the train is a part of the package. I don't feel that it takes away from anything that's associated with these fine apartments. I live in the back of the property and it does not rattle my windows and has never woken me up out my sleep. You are ridiculous, if the train bothered you so much why would you sign a lease to live here?

I agree with the post above. There is validity with mention of the gate having problems frequently, but it's not like that really matters. Non-residents wait for residents to enter and then rush in after them before the gate closes anyway. But so far no issues with non-residents causing security problems so that's good news.
But the train situation - I fear you were too quick to ignore the large train tracks in front of your eyes prior to your official move-in date.

I was told I could not park on the street infront of my apartment, that I would have to pay 90.00 for a garage or get towed. I got a garage and still people are parking in the streets blocking traffic. I have complained to management more times than I could count, still nothing is done. They basically lie to you just to shut you up. The gate is a problem, we pay high rent price for a gated community, yet anyone can get in.
