First of all, I would like to state that I am the one who wrote the 06/20/07 review, "This is crazy!! This is so ridiculous!!!". Since then I have moved into the apartments and I can say, I was right.

You can not base an entire apartment complex and management staff off of your "personal" problems. I want to address some of the issues that some people have.. some are true, some are not:

Dog poop - If dog poop is in the grass, you just got some nasty neighbors. I have never seen the bag container empty but if they are, that's good because somebody is using them. There was a problem addressed in regards to children taking the pets out to do their business. This is a problem. I have seen children out with dogs and they were using it and the children were leaving the poop. This just happened the other day. A little girl around 7 or 8 had a white poodle like dog and was playing and jumping around while holding the dog on its leash. When I looked at the dog, it was doing its business and rest to sure, I went to the mailbox and when I was getting back in my car the little girl was walking off. She left it.. This issue has been address but you can't make grown people do anything. It's a rule and some break it. The adults needs to take the pets out. I personally think when poop is left out, this is from children who are taking the pets out. Not all the time, but most of the time. By no means should an adult allow a child to take a pet out or allow their animal to use it without picking up behind it. If your neighbor is doing this they are a rule breaker and they're nasty. I have seen poop by my apartment and there were bags available. So some people are just lazy and nasty. Bags are not always the issue.

Can hear neighbors through the walls - This is true. You can hear neighbors, depending on what type of neighbors you have. I personally live by 2 elderly people and I rarely ever hear anything. Now...there is a guy who live above me and when he gets home, I know it. Usually when he gets home, I do hear running around, which is his dog that is very happy to see him. I personally don't have a problem with that. Some others may. But it does not bother me. Aside the dog running around when he gets home, don't hear much. So problems with neighbors, I feel is a personal issue that needs to be taken up with management. From what I was told when I signed my lease, I should not have a problem with noise after 10pm and if I do to first contact the office. If that fails, I was told to contact the police. You can't make grown people do nothing. Simple.

Staff - Now first of all, so what if the staff changes. If someone wants to leave, ok that's fine but why does that have a reflection on the management staff' Why blame management for someone leaving' I don't understand that. Since I have been here since July, management has changed once. I have not taken the time to go to the office to meet the new manager but I soon will. Let's be reasonable, you can't blame a company if someone leaves...right' We are all adults and make our own decisions. So I feel if the management staff changes 10 times, it won't change the way I look at the overall apartment complex. No one can make anyone leave or stay. Everyone has their preference and just because someone leaves does not all the time mean something is wrong with the company.

Parking - I would be the first to say, parking can be pretty tight. The parking is usually tight where there are multiple bedroom units. Also, if there are more couples in a particular building, with each having their own vehicle, the parking will be tight. Another factor, personally I live at the very top of the mountain in the 700 building. Personally I think all of the buildings that have decks facing the woods are of high demands. The apartments that sit, I would say in the middle always have vacant spots because their less desirable. On top of the mountainis a very popular area since it offers more privacy and has a great deadend view over 280. Also, my deck is facing the woods which is another great anemity. So these type of areas will have less space for parking because of the demand. Areas where parking seems not to be a problem are less desirable buildings and usually are people who lives by themselves. Most couples have each their own vehicle. That means there will be 2 cars per apartment, which can make it tight at times. But overall, its not bad.

Maintenance - From personal experience, I have never had a real problem. So I can't really comment on that. I do see them out a lot, doing miscellaneous things. I have never needed maintenance done on my apartment.

Cheap appliances/fixtures - For Christ sakes, if you don't like the appliances and the fixtures, don't move in the apartment!!!! Your able to see a demo in which show you an example. Base your decision on that. Personally, I think the fixtures are great. I think the apartments are well maintained and everything coordinates with one another.

Valet Garbage/Water Bill - Now raise your hand if you didn't see the dumpster when you first enter the community... What a minute.. I'm counting.. No one's hand should be raised. There is a HUGE sign that locates the dumpster, if you did not like the fact that the dumpster was right across from you and you had to pay valet fees for trash, you should have found you another apartment complex to live in. Again, this is a personal issue. People who do not live right across from the dumpster benefit from this service. And of course, it wouldn't be beneficial to me either if I lived right across from the dumpster. I personally do not want to put garbage in my car and take it to the dumpster. Sometimes bags have holes in them and that stuff can get into your car. That's nasty. Also, we sometimes have several bags and it's really nice to be able to put our garbage outside the door so someone else can take it down for us. So I think its great!! As far as the water, yes it can be a little expensive. I wash everyday because I personally can not use the same wash cloths and bath towels more than once(This is a germ issue that I have). My husband and I put dirty cloths in the hamper everyday, obviously, and it can pile up quickly... I wash every single day, both my husband and I bath everyday (obviously), I cook, clean, use the restroom (obviously) and do other misc things using water and my bill is always reasonable.

I believe I am a honest person and I would recommend anyone to Stonecrest. If you are looking for a perfect complex, as stated in my last review, get you a cardboard box and place it under a bridge...because theres not one!! There are just certain things that some people consider important. Others may not consider it important. Check out the apartments, see what you think about them.. make your choice based on your personal opinion, not anyone elses. I personally like staying here and I'm not going anywhere anytime soon!

you are one heck of a whiney b*%!h!!! EEEEEWWW people are nasty cuz they don't pick up thier dog poop!!! do ou have a dog? If so do you pick up its s*&t? probably not. we all take showers and wash our clothes and wash dishes and go to the bathroom, but now living in my own house my wife and i use 2-3 times as much water and have never paid more than half of what stonecrest charges. in case you didnt know not everybody except you is not an idiot, we are all aware that multiple bedroom units have more people in them, that kinda a no s&*t thought dont you think? when they built the damn place they should have thought about that and made adequate parking for that reason alone. instead they want to use the land to build apartment not parking lots, because parking lots dont make money, apartments do. i most certainly cannot believe that YOU have nasty garbage that you dont want to put in your car. you talk like you are the cleanest person on earth, with your germ phobia and all. it must be nice to live in fantasy land, gimme a call when you want to come visit reality with the rest of us.

Sorry for being clean and all. One thing is for sure, your mouth is filthy and it should be put in the garbage. Number 1, I use to live in a 3 bedroom apartment by myself before I got married. Just because a apartment has multiple rooms does not mean several people live there. Number 2, no I do not have a pet, use to, but don't desire to have one anymore. And if I did have one, I would pick up it's poop because I believe in doing what's right. If I had my OWN house, I would do what I want. However, I don't have my own house, so I must follow the rules set. Number 3, I am very intelligent. Because I have the understanding that this is an opinion forum and I shouldn't get mad at someone else's opinion.... real smart of you, you think? Number 4, if you have such a problem with it, build an apartment complex yourself and show us how it suppose to be done. If you still live here, just move. It's just that simple. Number 5, I don't live in fantasy land. I'm just blessed like that. Number 6, germs is nasty. If you like germs, you nasty. If your momma like germs, she nasty... I must have gotten all in your business because you are just too mad about what I stateed. If you're not the one doing, it shouldn't bother you... so whose the whiney one???? I don't take back anything I stated because its my opinion. And about the water, I did that to show that I use a lot of water and my bill is still reasonable. Why get mad at someone for being themselves? I'm me and your you. It's my opinion. It's not branded or anything. It's just an opinion. If you can't afford it, go live somewhere else. If you don't like, just don't live here. It's just that simple... You need anger management or something. I feel sorry for your wife. You probably slap her around and stuff. If you get mad at something like this, you have real anger issues..... I mean if you really and truly let a psychiatrist or someone in that field read your response to my opinion.. you probably can get a crazy check.. that'll help on your water bill... LOL

Who would want to live here after reading all of this. If you really like Stonecrest so much why argue about thinngs you like and others don't? Just write your review and be done, no need to respond to every response you get!!

I agree with 12/17/2007 You are so right! That's exzactly what it is like to live here!! I do have to say it sounds like an apt. employee or manager who is trying to make it sound so great, because in reality the anger management guy is accurate. There are too many issues to mention, but Stonecrest does have some MAJOR DRAMA usually stimming from the office. We are counting down to the day our lease is up!!!!!!

Seems to me people have far to much time on their hands to write all that stuff and maybe just a bit of chemical help of some sort LOL.
