I don't really have anything bad to say about Stonecrest. I initially wrote a review about 2 years ago stating that I was going to live here despite the bad reports that was posted about this community and to be honest it wasn't so bad. However, I do have a couple of comments.

Stonecrest is suppose to be a upscale type community but to me the only real thing it got going for it is the appearance. The apartments are nice and the colors and design are fabulous. I think most of the pricing is based off of the area (Greystone).

What I really didn't like was 85% of my time here, the gate was not working. People either ran it over or it just didn't work. My thing is, my monthly payments paid for me to live in a gated community and to be honest, they should have just deducted some money from everyone's rent because the gate never worked. Believe it or not, we as tenants pay for these anemities. The better the anemities are, the more pricy the payments.

The apartments just aren't all that but their nice. Parking is terrible at times and they will tow your car....so beware. The staff is a little unprofessional. I remember not too long ago on a Saturday I went to pay rent and the little girl (well thats what she looked like) she had her legs propped up on the desk and she was bare footed. I made my rent payment and asked for a reciept and she kind of "sigh" like she didn't really want to do it.

Now that I'm moving, I can't believe as upscale as this apartment complex is, they don't have more than one pool area. Most communities have at least two.

It is very noisy at time. I lived in the 700 building and the lady above me had a dog. Everytime she got home I knew it because that dog would run all around and it sounded like about 5 children up there. Thank goodness I wasn't a crazy person because her daily patterns were obvious.

So all in all, I didn't really have a bad experience but it was ok. It wasn't good enough for me to stay there, so I'm moving. Hope this helps someone.

Oh... I forgot, I had to edit this to ad this. There are a lot of bugs, I know where I was by the woods. A scorpion got in our home but it died some how. We had a lot of little flying bugs and weird little crawing bugs that were always in the tub and around areas where water was. They did spray regularly but it didn't help.
