Leaky ceilings, High water bills

My apartment ceiling leaks everytime it rains heavily, and water even leaks through a light fixture and an outlet! I have requested this to be fixed, but every rain since the "repair" has been made has required yet another round of setting out pots to catch rainwater. The complex is very poorly lit, creating an unsafe environment. The walkway to the laundry room is extremely poorly lit, and is next to a wooded area. The trees and shrubs look nice during the day, but create an unsafe environment at night when combined with the lack of lighting. Also, my water bills are at least $60 every month! In my opinion, this apartment complex is coming close to being uninhabitable.

Everything that's said about these apartments are true. I've put in a maintenance request after request and they still haven't come to fix my problems. It's been months now! No one is ever in the office, when you call, all you get is the answering service. I will not be renewing my lease here. Before I signed my lease, I was shown my apartment, i requested the carpet be replaced, I was assured it would be..... well guess what, I have the same dirty carpet and they refused to replace it. DO NOT RENT HERE! DO NOT RENT HERE! DO NOT RENT HERE! I can't tell you enough. They will be nice to you before you sign the lease, but you're up ---- creek once you do!
