I moved into Summerchase in the summer of 2005 and since Day 1, my roommate and I have had nothing but problems from the management or lack thereof. It started out with what most people would call, Simple Repairs: a hole in the kitchen sink, a leaking faucet in one of the bathrooms, a rotting balcony that my 13-month-old nephew almost fell off of and no frame around the doorways. Living in Summerchase has been nothing but a continuous headache and nuisance. I Stringly discourage anyone from wasting their money on such a dump, because that is exactly what you will end up doing, wasting money. I received a notice in January stating that we owed them money that we knew we had already paid after sending letters and calling Summerchase the problem went unanswered because of the lack of competence that everyone in the office has. Not only do they lack intelligence but they didn't even have the decent respect to even attempt to call us back. when we called Engel to report the problems that we had beeen having they told us that the best thing for us to do was to send them an e-mail. An e-mail that went unanswered just like all the previous phone calls.
Like previous tenants have stated, the demise of Summerhase is at the fault of Summerchase Apartments and Engel Property management. They have the nastiest pool,weight room, showers, and laundry facilities that I have ever seen. everything looks old and dusty and if you ask me paying to live their every month is a stupid mistake that I have to live with for teh rest of my life. vWhRVi5nYYIuEh4W7K3l
