This is an awsome place to live! It is conveniently located right off of I-65, not too far from Highway 280, and about 3 minutes from Highway 31! You could not ask for a better location! When I decided to rent an apartment I went to 8 different locations and Summerchase suited my needs perfectly! They are safe, with one entrance/exit only, the managing team is very helpful and always friendly, they always have really good deal specials for rent, and the tenants are friendly too! It is also pet friendly and child friendly! Also a good place for all ages from early twenties and just starting (like myself) to elderly! If you're looking for a great place to live and call home, I suggest Summerchase Apartments. (The only reason I am leaving is because I am moving to Arizona. Were it not for that, I would definitely stay)!!

It has some good points like location..yes..quiet most of the time, a little dark around the walk areas and the clubhouse at night..pool area clean except the pool always a little dirty and needs better filters for the water, the fountain is a nice touch. Like someone mentioned before most air conditioners are old and not able to cool in the summer heat. but the staff is friendly and think it they would get the renters involved in the community it would be better living for everyone there, most people don't ever meet their neighbors so I think that would make a safer place for kids and all renter. not a bad place just needs some tweek-n to make it a Riverchase class place.

Well good for you and the place you live now. Just be cause YOU had a bad experience doesn't mean EVERYONE has to agree with you. I think you need to get the chip off your shoulder and grow up a lil bit and let it go. How long ago was it when you lived there? Could there be a HUGE possibility that whoever caused the problems when you lived there are gone and replaced with much better people? I think you should get some more fact straight before you go badmouthing a good place!

**I have my facts straight, because I actually lived there and didn't work there. If I had a bad experience and ALL of the neighbors around me had a bad experience, then what I am saying is true, and if you're so concerned about my reply then I wouldn't be surprised if you worked there as well - whenever anyone posts anything negative there is immediately a response, that seems a little too good to be true** This entire review sounds like a marketing brochure. Having both lived there with a negative experience and having neighbors there who all had the same bad experience. I would not recommend it to anyone. This complex is tied to Engel, who are not exactly experts in property management. They are experts in raising rent without anything being changed for the better (they didn't give remodeled apartments to those of us who lived there before, making their rental rate too high). I talked to people who worked there and trying to get answers for questions was difficult. I had 3 neighbors just in my immediate vicinity who had some problem with their apartment. The place I live now has had zero problems since I moved in last year, and when I ask a question I get an answer, and I actually have a remodeled apartment.

It may be very true that you and some of your neighbors had a negative experience while living here, and for that we are truly disappointed! We do not like it when a resident leaves this community unhappy. However, as I have mentioned before you moved out in 2007 under a different management team so we cannot go back and right the wrongs that you experienced, but I can tell you that we do everything in our power to be the best at what we do and create a comfortable community. The post that you are responding to is not from an employee, that I can gurantee you, but this one is. We respond to negative reviews because we do not want to ignore any comments. If someone has had a negative experience we want the chance to fix the problems and turn it into a positive experience. But since you moved out before any of the current team arrived, we cannot do that for you. So we have invited you back to take a look around, visit with us and allow us to change your opinion. The earlier response to this post where the person is saying that we have some things to work on, I absolutely agree with! That is why we watch this website, so we can see where we need to improve. We are constantly striving to do and be better! And in fact I believe that poster will be happy to know that we have some really fun resident events coming up this summer, including 2 pool parties and we welcome any suggestions you might have for upcoming events or ways to get the community involved!
