Loved it there

Ok, came across this website tonight. I live in Colorado now, but I lived at The Terrace for 2 years and dearly loved it. I remember the first visit there. As I approached that steep hill and my car bottomed out and I saw the somewhat dated looking building at the top, I thought "YUCK!". However, I decided to give it a look anyway. It's a good thing I didn't just judge a book "by it's cover"... I found the manager to be just charming, upbeat, and genuine, and I fell in love with the apartment and the view once I got inside. My friends loved it and were always jealous that I lived there. Not the biggest apartment, but if you're single and living alone, its a fine amount of space. Also, I liked the fact that they were all one bedrooms, because I knew that it basically eliminated the possibility of any kids living there. I didn't make a whole lot of money when I lived in Birmingham, and the price of the rent was very reasonable and hard to beat for what you got. Highly recommended. I never had any maintenance or noise issues, as I remember that the walls between units were concrete-style. Even with my view of the Rockies today, I still sometimes miss my cozy apartment perched high on the hill overlooking Birmingham!
