I work in the office and I just wanted to say that since we (the new management) have taken over, the quality of living has improved. Work orders get completed in a timely manner and our courtesy patrol is Jefferson County Sherrif Department. We have a high standard of excellence that we will uphold in order to remove the negative impressions that were left from the previous management and the previous tenants. We treat every person that walks in the door with respect whether they are a current resident or a prospective resident.

That's "EXACTLY" what they told me before I moved in! They even had my dad fooled into thinking how much everything changed and bla bla and is was the 2nd time staff had been changed out. It's sad when you keep having to post "NEW STAFF, NEW SECURITY, NEW 'you fill in the blank'" every year and change the name of the place because it has such a bad reputation.

I do understand that you don't really trust that it would be any diffrent than last time, but I can honestly say that with all the "NEW" things and people that, that is exactly why we will change the reputation of this place. We are dedicated to making sure that the people who currently live here are taken care of as well of the people who want to live here. I invite you (if you already don't live out here) to visit us and you'll see yourself that since we (and I mean the new management) has taken over since June that we have made drastic improvements.

I moved here last August, which is apparently after the "new" management came in, and trust me, nothing much has changed. I don't know what it was like under the old management, but I KNOW that it is not as wonderful as the person WHO WORKS IN THE OFFICE says it is. Do they have to live here? It's sucks, plain and simple, we'll be moving out at the end of our lease and never looking back.

I don't live there, so I don't know..... However, does anyone remember SouthSide.. Phelan Park used to called Needle Park.... it took alot of work, alot of changes to the old.... it took alot of dedicated effort by alot of people as well as moving police offices closer.... slowly but surely it changed... The Neighborhood Associations & the Business Associations, the Police & Operation New Birmingham .... and all of the VOLUNTEERS!!! It takes PEOPLE willing to do what is necessary to make changes & then it takes time to see the results of that change
