Terrible Place to Live

From the first week we were here we have not been satisfied. The night we moved in the shelving in our closet fell down. We called maintenance and after two weeks of getting no one to come and fix it, we replaced it on our own. This was just the first of many battles to get things done by the maintenance staff. We realized after a few weeks that our balcony door did not have a screen like everyone else's and we called the office to get one - they told us they no longer replaced them! We said that is not fair, when you showed us your model apartment there was a screen on the door, and we want one. They told us they would put us on the list to have one ordered. That was 10 months ago!!! The foundation is settling bad, and all the furniture in our apartment leans downhill - noticeably. The grounds are littered and unkept. Roaches are a huge problem!! We keep getting notices on our doors about cars and apartments being broken into. We just don't feel safe here anymore. The office staff is never there past 5:00 event though their hours clearly state until 6:00. The quality of these apartments is not worth the rent. If things keep going in the direction they are in - this may be like a Section 8 neighborhood before too long! Thankfully, our lease was up this month and we are out of here!

It is not the foundation, it is cheap wood used for the sub flooring that is need of being replaced. If it was the foundations then the walls would be cracking and they are not, yet.
