Big apartments,low price=awful living experience

If you enjoy having staff sneak around and photograph your apartment on a regular basis, then this is the place for you! The apartments and grounds are spacious but after living there for five years I see why The Meadows always ran such great move-in specials.
Flooding toilets are the norm, get used to having 1 and 1/2 bath for 2 bath apartment. Also get to the know the "carpet guy" as you will be seeing him regularly when he comes to clean up flooded water. The cockroaches are quite large, aggressive, and many.
Peeling paint, mildewed moulding, and bad cabinets are things to look for. Maintenance is very lazy and inefficient. Since Colonial moved in staff has become snobby, elitist at the "ghetto in the 'burbs" complex. Baby pool once had green mildew growing in it even though I complained multiple times before it got to that state. For a long time, pool bathrooms reeked of urine and feces. Dog poop is everywhere, you must constantly look at the ground when walking. For four years I complained about a closet that was never repaired. It eventually fell and hit one of my children. My neighbors also complained about the bum deal they were getting.
It's okay for the right person who doesn't ask for much in life or isn't home much anyway. But for the rest of us, I say run as fast as you can from The Meadows of Brook Highland.
