Getting worse

I posted earlier about this place. I've become increasingly less happy with the place. It's still beautiful and well kept, but it seems to me that they spend more money on people to blow non-existent leaves than improving on the apartments. As others have posted, you can hear EVERYTHING in other apartments no matter what floor you live on, but I would suggest getting a third floor apartment, though you'll have a tough time getting anything large up the stairs.
There is new management and since that happened a new "breed" of clientele have moved in. Like someone else mentioned there are many college-age kids that drive through at all hours with their loud cars and thumping stereos. If you're looking for peace and quiet, this isn't the place.
I have a friend that lives here. He was told when he moved in (a year ago) that when it came time to renew his lease he would qualify for whatever special the complex was running for new tenants. When he went to renew his lease he was told that he wouldn't get any specials and would in fact have to pay more, so beware. If you don't want to pay anymore than you are when you move in find another place to go before your lease runs out.
All in all it's still nice, but quickly deteriorating and frankly, not worth the money that you pay.
