The Parc at Cahaba River

Here is my experience. I love the apartments, love the location, and love the space. However, you can hear almost every door around you when it slams shut, the walls are super thin all around, my toilet was backed up every other day (a plunger usually fixed the problem), there were always people just hanging around who didn't live here (especially in the summer time), there is usually a computer or two in the lab that is usually not working and there is never any paper for the printers or fax, it took them four months to fix our front door and we still have a cabinet that they supposedly fixed but it broke again. Is it worth the price, no. But I did enjoy the environment itself and my spacious apartment. The key is convincing them to let you keep your apartment at the special rate after you lease is up.

Were you actually able to do that? I signed a 13 month lease and then signed another 7 month and they raised my rent by $50. Considering that I was never late, never had a bounced check and never caused any problems, that really made me angry. Their specials are very deceptive.
