Yo!

Don't live here unless you can afford to live in a two bedroom and pay top dollar so you can park in the parking garage

I have lived at the Sheraton for 2 years now, and frankly, it's not worth the high price. There is never anywhere to park unless you come home straight from work and don't ever go out at night. I have had to walk 2 blocks with arms full of groceries because of Rojo restaurant downstairs and the drunks taking up all the parking spaces. I have had to walk 2 blocks in the rain from my car because there is nowehere close to park. There is a parking garage but us working class peons can't park there because we only live in a one bedroom there and only pay $525. The only residents allowed to use the parking garage are the residents on the top two floors, which are the two bedrooms and cost the most. The rest of us have to suffer and park 2 blocks away from the apartment building. Also, there is a laundromat downstairs in the building, and anyone can use it. Residents have to pay to use the washers and dryers. It is a coin operated laundry. Most apartment complexes let their residents use the laundry for free, but not Sheraton. Also, the fact that it is a public laundromat, means homeless people come in there and sleep all night long. One time a homeless man came in the laundromat while I was doing laundry and crawled under a table and promptly went to sleep. I felt uncomfortable. Another time, my husband was doing laundry and some Nazi skinhead who didn't even live at the Sheraton approached him and started going off on this anti-Semitic tirade out of the blue. My lease ends in August, and the rent is going up to $540 for a one bedroom. The kitchen doesn't even have a dishwasher. There are no washer dryer connections in any of the apartments. You are forced to use the public laundromat and pay good money only to be accosted by homeless people and Nazi skinheads, who don't even live in the building, while you are trying to do your laundry. The people who manage Sheraton Apartments are money-grubbing greedy elitists who cater to the residents on the top two floors and let them park in the parking garage, but as far as the rest of us working class peons who live there, "forget you" is the management's attitude toward us. The hot water goes out from time to time. The only plus about living here is the fact that water is included in the rent. Needless to say, I am moving as soon as my lease is up. Don't move here. It is overpriced for what you get.

Ive lived in the Sheraton for about 7 months now. I rarely ever had a problem parking. If you dont mind walking down the block and across the street, then your fine. In fact its at the complete opposite side of the buildng that the restaurant is, and the entrance is about the same distance away. I would also like to add, the laundry room is just fine and I have never had a problem, in fact the people seem very nice down there. Just avoid sunday nights, way too busy. I often leave my laundry down there and only come back to switch it from one machine to the other. The management is another story. The onsite repair men are very helpful, however the owners of the building refuse to fix up the place. I will say that the elevators are often dirty and my hall just smells weird. Basically if you dont like people, then dont live here. In fact you probably shouldnt live in a city. But if accept the fact that people live around you, then its just fine. The price is another story, water is about to be add to the individual costs, and there are cheaper places to rent. However you have to realize that there are a ton more expensive places out there and that in the long run, its not that bad.
