The first problem I had was that they showed me a nice apartment, but ended up giving me a dirty one. The bathroom was yucky. The carpet was so dirty I have my allergy problems everyday. Also, it's a very noisy community, and the management didn't do anything with the possible drug dealer living in the complex. I don't think they check your background ever''' And, someone broke in to my rusty 92 Honda Accord, and stole the Radio/CD player !!! not safe at all!!!
However, I've never had any problem with the maintenance. I always got my problem resolved in the same day, except last summer, when my AC was broken, we (including my newborn baby) had to spend about 4 days without AC. We're melting, and my baby was very fussy because it was too hot for him !!! And the manager was really nice. The roaches problem is also not as bad as my friend's apartment at UAB campus.
The new management is sucks. The office is rarely open, the price goes up real high, and the late fee is $100, instead of 10% of the monthly rent.
