I have been at Turtle Lake for two months and am very pleased. I love the layout of my two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment, and my view of the lake can't be beat--very pleasant and peaceful. Very large master bedroom is great for all my furniture. Maintenance and office staff are outstanding--very helpful and very friendly. I have called several times for maintenance assistance and have received a prompt response. The location is also great. Although right off 289, it is quite secluded--one entrance in/out...you hardly know the complex is there from the highway. It is also quiet--I do not hear the 289 traffic at all. Now that I'm here, I tend to look around at other apartment complexes "just to keep my eyes open." So far I have not seen one that I would move for.

Turtle Lake is on Highway 280, not 289.

Keep looking. You haven't been there long enough to experience all the problems. If it's such a great place, why have you needed to call "several times for maintenance assistance" in only 2 months???
