I lived here for one year. In that time I will say that I was very impressed with maintenance and the attentiveness of the staff to my concerns and problems. They seemed genuinely concerned for my happiness and well-being while a resident. Also, the location can't be beat. It is convenient to most everything that Birmingham has to offer. I was unimpressed, however, with the facilities of the complex. My apartment had a consistent roach problem that was never controlled, though pest service was provided every month. It was so bad that everytime I cooked it became the norm to swash a few roaches while they ran across the stove (I am an extremely clean person, might I add). Several of my neighbors had the same complaints and one even changed apartments shortly after moving in due to the roach infestation. Also, the laundry facilities were often unclean, with leaking water from the ceiling. I often felt unsafe in the facilities at night. I usually carried all of my clothes to a nearby laudromat due to the poor facilities.
