I have been a resident at Vestavia Park for two years and in that time there have been three complete overhauls to the management staff and they have gotten steadily worse with each new management team.

When I moved to Vestavia Park I got one of the "remodeled" two bedroom apartments. However, not everything was remodeled. I noted what still needed to be fixed; things that included a broken knob in the shower, broken window, hole in the wall above the cabinet (the hole is big enough for a raccoon to fit through and no telling what has gotten into the apartment through there) and only the broken knob in the shower has been fixed to date.

Recently, we had a problem with the fuse box - it caught on fire. Nice, right. And this is the renovated apartment. They did fix the problem, but I had to stay in a hotel until they did. Did they pay for the hotel - no they did not.

Also, don't ever try calling the office - because the secretary NEVER answers the phone. You have to physically go to the office if you want anything done. And that is not very convenient for people who work.

In short, the apartments are over priced and run down and there is noting the management will do about it. Stay away from Vestavia Park and move somewhere else.
