First let me say I have lived in Birmingham for 9 years in about 15 different apartment complexes all over the metro area. I have called Waterford home for the last 1.5 years and yes there are some issues that need attention, but not anymore than other places. Overall, I am very satisfied! When I first moved here the construction at what used to be the Riverchase Country Club had not begun. I have friends that live at Barrington and guess what they are having problems with bugs too! I guess when you remove all the surrounding trees and stir up all that dirt, bugs have to go somewhere don't they' If you are having a problem, do what I did. Go to the office and fill out a form for pest control every week and then do somethings in your own apartment to combat them. I sweep my own breezeway once a week, do I have to' NO, but I live here and I take pride in my home. Maybe instead of whining, you address your issues with the manager. She was very professional each time I spoke with her and yes there were a couple of times I had to call her about my issues, but she did get them resolved. Don't like apartment living, buy a house!
