I moved in here March 2006, and I can not wait until my lease is up!
I chose to live here because I viewed it in the day time, and it seemed like a good price. Now that they are leased by Metcalf Realty, I have had numerous problems that have gone unresolved. 1st, they can't seem to keep up with the fact that I have paid my rent. They have called and written letters stating that my rent is late, and that I owe late fees. But When I call the office to speak with Jerry, she tells me that everything's paid up.
2nd, I live on the 3rd floor. Apparently, the air conditioning unit is not efficient for the 1046 sq. ft. apt because the thermostat stayed on 90 degrees most of the time in the summer, and would not go any cooler than 87 degrees reguardless. My electric bill was about $220 every month in the summer. When I told Metcalf about this, April told me "Well, we're not gonna replace it", and told me that the AC unit was not big enough for my apartment. I also informed her that my 3 year old had a hard time sleeping at night because of the heat, and would always wake up in a pool of sweat.
#3...the ROACHES!. You dont get pest control or maintainance unless you're home. They dont have any keys to get into your apartment to spray for bugs, so the roaches are out of control. And you wont get anything fixed unless you take off from work, and even then they tell you that they may or may not get to your problem that day.
Just please, pay a little more and dont live here. Because between the high electric bill and headache, you'll end up paying the cost of a better, more expensive, more efficent apartment.

Everything this person said about this place is true. Except now they're owned by some other company that no one can get in touch with. I dont even know if they have a local office. We have to mail our rent payments to a P.O. Box.....horrible!
