Fast maintenance, good-to-great office staff, nice apts. Maintenance went out of their way to do stuff on occasion. Neighbors were always nice as far as I could tell. Sometimes students would get a bit rowdy at night but it never bothered me- there were as many families as students in the complex. Other pros were the car wash, 2 pools, decent gym, and well maintained grounds. Rather good location, as it's out of the way yet convenient to UAB/Samford/shopping.

We never heard our adjoining neighbors, but the ceilings were rather thin. We did have some bugs (on first floor next to woods) but maintenance sprayed often. The entry gate was often broken, but I never heard of problems with theft/etc.

I'd recommend for any grad students/young professionals/ young couples/ etc!
