Stay away from older buildings (bldgs with lower numbers)!!!

Nice place, but buildings were in the process of replacing polybutelene water pipes. (maybe that is why we have to pay $20/month for water)! Older buildings have LOTS of problems.
1- and 2-bedroom apartments are very spacious. 3-bedroom apartments waste alot of space with halls.
Office and maintanance people are VERY nice, but front office has a lot of turnover.
In the process of completely redoing the exercise facilities with new equipment. Finally cracking down on who can use the pool.
Close to everything...mall, theaters, resturants, interstate highway, etc.
Had noisy neighbors upstairs. Knew when kids were home playing with dog, when family was watching TV, when someone went to the bathroom or smoked and when parents were trying for additional kids.
Tenants are not as good a quality as they used to be. Many rent incentives have moved in some undesirables, but they move out when the rent goes up. Then again, the lezzies put on a good show in the parking lot the other day.
Bldgs 10-12 are VERY limited in parking. Get in buildings 17-19 if you want a space near your apartment.
Hoover Fire Department limits grills to ground-level apartments. Sucks.
Bugs are bad for ground-level apartments, not too bad in others.
DSL, cable modem and digital cable available.
