I hate to write such awful reviews about the place that I live, but someone need to know that this is not a nice place to live. I have been living in Wood Gardens apts since May 2007. I moved in one of the newer locations, the 500 building. I had new appliances, and I thought everything was perect, however it has been a complete disaster. Whenever the people upstatis run bath water, wash the tub or take a shower, my apts floods from the vents in the ceiling. I have been calling maintenance about this issue since September, and they yet to fix the pipes inside the walls. Now keep in mind, this is a newly renovated apt, so there shouldn't be any issues with the pipes whatsoever. My apt floods almost everyday, and nothing has been done about it. They told me that the people upstairs take too may baths or run to much water, but they pay rent just like I do, so it shouldn't matter. I'm in the process of contacting their property manager and if needed FOX 6 on my side. I have had enough and I refuse to take this. Management and Maintenace is horrible, and I would advise noone to ever move in the apts. They are horrible.

I truly sympathize. Building 5, if I'm not mistaken, is one of two that burned due to arson about 2 years ago, and was rebuilt, not just renovated. I live in Building 6 which is directly behind yours and I saw the fire. Apparently, the rebuilding was a crummy job. I have lived at Wood Gardens for 9 years and when my current lease is up in March, I'm not renewing. Maintenance here has gone downhill over the past year, to the point where over the summer it took more than A MONTH to get my dishwasher repaired. When my refrigerator conked out in December, it took nearly a WEEK to get a new one. I could have gone to Lowe's or Mazers and gotten one THAT DAY cash and carry, but for some reason, management ORDERED one from Home Depot. I lived out of an ice chest for that week.
