They don't listen to anything you say. They don't get things fixed Ever!! I am still waiting for things to be fixed after two months of living here. Other than the office staff, I like my apartment. Well it took SIX months to get everything fixed. Now they sent us a notice saying we were going to be evicted for not paying rent, which we paid, and handed it to them face to face. They said they lost it and that was it. Went to the bank to trace it, and when they found that out they mysteriously found it' Shady to me, ever since the new management came in September this place has gone down hill, and keeps dropping. Wouldn't recommend it to anyone, I would be willing to pay more for more respect!!

Totally agree. Whomever is saying these bad comments are coming from those who have been evicted is a total setup from management or corporate. I have always paid my rent and communicated with the "office workers" (at this point that's what they are to me)! They are not professionals. I have a college degree, with honors. My air conditioning unit has been off for a week. They won't fix it! I had problems all summer. The power bill last month was over $400.00 for less than 900 sq. ft. apartment. I have complained and begged for them to fix it. Of course now I am dealing with all new people. Corporate is just the worst business relationship I have ever experienced in my entire life. Even all the office staff from a couple of months ago have quit. My guess is the same thing happens every few months. Can't even keep employees, much less tenants! The overturn alone is costing corporate more money than if they would just fix the problems. I have the potential for a lawsuit, complete with documentation and recording telephone conversations. I don't like lawsuits, I deal with it all day long at work (I'm a paralegal). I see so many BS lawsuits that I really try to avoid it at all costs. But they have pushed me and my children to a breaking point. I am 99.9% sure a judge will see the total injustice here. There may even be a class action. If anyone wants to join in, just respond. In hopes that no one else will check in to this place and not be able to check out, because you can't afford to live here! The power bill alone is a rent payment. All of my money has went to them and their really old wires, air units, broken diswashers, etc., and they won't even turn the air conditionin on! I really can't belive I am even in this situation. I am seeking legal advice really soon!

I live at Wood Gardens, which is like a sister property to Wood Springs (same management company). I have lived here for 9 years and management has changed hands at least FIVE TIMES since I moved in. This last change (to DEL) has been the absolute worst. It took a MONTH to get a simple dishwasher repair, a WEEK for a replacement refrigerator (and it's a lesser model -- no icemaker and the DOORS open the wrong way).
I reported a "raccoon incursion" into the attic back in JUNE (I live on the top floor), and they have YET to remedy the problem. The varmint is STILL up there, waking me up at 2 or 3 in the morning....
On the plus side, the landscaping is nice and the grounds are always kept up, but I don't live in the flower beds.
My lease is up in March, I'm NOT renewing, and for the first time in my life, I'm looking forward to moving out.

All of these comments seem like copy and pasting to me. You can write the same thing over and over again, but it isn't going to change the fact that you are mad...maybe you SHOULD seek legal advice, but don't say that in september and then still be complaining about it in Jan.

I lived at Wood Springs from 2005-06. At that point the management and office staff were awful. The last 6 months were the worse. I got 3 noise complaints, which is the number of complaints before an eviction notice. I am a professional women who lived alone, never had parties, never listened to music late at night, and had no pets. I worked all day and was out of town at least one weekend a month. With all that said, I was never noisy. The 3rd noise complaint was on my door when I got back in town on a Sunday after being gone since the Friday before. It stated that there was loud music playing late at night, stomping, and doors slamming. I WAS NOT EVEN HOME!!! That was not the only problem I had while living there. I was on the top level of my building and in my living area I notice a water leak in the ceiling. I notified the office right away. I repeatedly called and complained about this problem. By the time my lease was up the leak had spread to about 6 feet long. There were chips of the ceiling flaking off and mildew had formed. At this point I had given up on the staff and planned to move out. Three months after I moved I received a letter saying that I owed 850.00 dollars for damages done. I thought when I moved out it was over. I consulted with my attorney and we were able to prove that the apartment was in as good of condition when I moved out as it was when I moved in 18 months earlier and any damages, such as the leaky ceiling, were not my responsibility. I don't know why tenants keep having problems with this complex. I have rented from many different places and never had even one complaint or ongoing issues like I had with Wood Springs! They will try to real you in with great rent specials, its not worth it!!!
