STAY AWAY!!!!
do not under any circumstance live here. i've only been here for three months this place totally sucks! the people that live on the third floor above me pee off of their balcony during their loud parties!
I swear, I was having a beer and smoking a cig on the steps and all of a sudden, pee hit me right on the face!! i told management about it and they said that i should feel free to call the police!
the parking here is horrible!! especially on the weekend. i also think my neighbors are selling drugs out of their apartment. strange people coming and going all of the time!
one time i was trying to sleep on a sunday night, and i awoke to my neighbors drunkenly shooting their pistols into the air.
STAY AWAY!!!!

wow looks like nothing has changed in years! i have had friends live there since 1999 until 2 years ago, it was the same piece of garbage then as it is now. parking looked the same as in the pics, all the dang trash looks like the same trash from 9 years ago. there was an officer that lived but like everyone else she got smart and got the heck outta there. you know its bad when the cops won't stay!!!!!

We must live near one another. I was victim of the random shootings in the air as well. However I went outside and it was a group of hispanic men who were partying in the parking lot, while shooting a small caliber pistol in the air.

I live in the sister property of Wood Springs (Wood Gardens) and it's managed by the same inept management company. I will say there is at least one Hoover PD officer who lives in Wood Gardens and acts as a "community courtesy" officer -- which means he (or she) keeps their marked patrol vehicle parked in plain view, even if not on duty.
After reading multiple reviews about all the clearly illegal activity going on, I wonder if Wood Springs even HAS a law enforcement officer living on the premises. It certainly NEEDS one.

yes. there is a courtesy officer, but they don't do anything. they broke into my appt today and now i can't open the door from the outside. maintainence doesn't do anything and it took 3 weeks to get a power bill...now its late. my appt leaks into my downstairs neighbors..that is why they broke in without letting me know. i had my thongs in my living room and in my bathroom. very embarassing to come home to a man breaking into your appt then seeing your dirty underwear.
