I have lived here for about six months and haven't had any major problems with maintenance, other than our water being turned off for no reasson at least three different times. My major problem is that there was not a shorter lease available than 12 months! My Honey and I need to move back to florida soon because of a MAJOR family emergency. Total fees and all to break our lease at 6 months would be OVER $3,000 Dollars! OUCH! Needless to say I strongly recommend that you read this lease VERY thoughly before signing, because you could easlily get screwed!
P.S. I agree about the parking being a nightmare and the noisy neighbors outside!

You should ALWAYS read your lease. This is typical with any apartment complex. You shouldn't judge an apartment complex just because you failed to read the fine print. But I do agree about the parking and the neighbors. Not pleasant.

I agree the parking is a nightmare and the office staff SUCKS and they are RUDE. I think some people have like 8 cars per apartment it is ridiculous. I have even been blocked in by other cars before becuase they are to lazy to park further and walk to there apartment. I don't feel that the Management has done anything to improve this and I can't wait until my lease is up.

Did you seek legal advice and read the Alabama landlord tenant law. It might not have been as bad as you got nailed.
