I searched the internet before we decided to move into Wood Springs
Apartments; my husband (who did not search the internet)put on our
lease agreement we heard about it from the "internet". We were due
a $125.00 rebate after move in from mynewplace.com; however after I
drove from Moody the same day that we signed the contract and told
the lady who prepared our contract to change it to: "mynewplace.com"
she did not do so and cheated us out of our rebate. This was deliberate
and kept us from getting the rebate at Christmas time when we needed it
the most. I would not recommend these apartments to anyone!!

Iam in the business and happen to know that if the lady were to change it she would have gotten fired. it was already in the computer the first time.we all get one chance in life with alot of things .you should have remembered to tell them when they asked the first time. And i do not work with this company.

I am also in the business... So you were trying to get a rebate for something that you did not use?? Way to cheat the system!! It is good that they didnt give you the rebate!

Agreed with the others. You can't say that you heard it from an internet source that gives rebates the day before you sign your lease and expect them to believe you. Those internet sources actually send emails to the apartment community that you are interested in. Also, I'm sure that she called Mynewplace.com and checked to see if you had even been on the site before you came into the office to view the apartment. Regardless of all of this, when you go and look at an apartment next time, be sure to tell them the FIRST time you go in where you heard of them.
