I lived at Audubon Park for 2 years. I appreciated the setting and the way the grounds, pool and all the amenities were maintained. But it's really quite
deceptive! VERY cheaply constructed, horribly cheap carpets and low quality fixtures, appliances, plumbing and cabinets. Known for being the most expensive apartment community in the area, you would certainly expect higher quality and a modicum of "luxury" built into the individual apartments. They advertised a business/center computer room that NEVER had a computer or working fax/copier the entire two years I lived there! Pretty grounds, very nice clubhouse and pool but "low-rent" contruction. As I didn't live in the exceptionally nice leasing office, I always felt I was paying far too much for too little.
