Do not expect any help from office staff. Melissa (manager) is very friendly, but the office staff is rude and uncaring. I went to the office after being invaded by termites (eating through 3 walls and the ceiling--I lived DOWNSTAIRS). I was told by the office worker- don't worry about it we have termites in all the buildings, and NOTHING was done (maintenance never even came by to look) Just before I moved I discovered termites in an intieror wall.

The noise level is awful. Sounds travel very easily from apartment to apartment. I slept with earplugs every night. I am NOT a light sleeper, and have never had to do this before at any complex.

I felt pretty safe while I lived there, however, there were reports of car break-ins. There is a wooded trail that goes over the Lake Forest Lake Dam and into Jubliee Square shopping center, very nice in the afternoon, but a "thug" hang out at night.

Overall, I should have rented from Grande Point. I was drawn into Bay Breeze because the appearance seemed nicer and newer, but it is only on the outside. For the type of apartment you get on the inside, it is overpriced, even for Daphne.
