I have lived at Bay Breeze for about 10 months now. I will be leaving to later this month to live in the Mobile area. In the time that I have lived here I can say that I have had my fair share of ups and downs, towards the end more downs than ups. First lets start with the ups. The staff is nice and understanding. The pool is kept clean, and the residence is usually quiet. Now the downs. The apartment complex is built next to a water treatment plant, so when it rains or it is damp outside it smells live raw sewage if you live on the side closest to the office. Over the summer two stray cats decided to make a family near my apartment building and about 6 stary kittens and their mother were spotted jumping on peoples cars, peeing on peoples patio chairs,and crawling in peoples storage rooms until they were about 4 months old. Thats four months to get someone to remove the stray cats! The maintenace department are quick to respond to requests but often have to revisit a few days later because the job was not completed properly the first time around. I complained about my power frequently going out, and usually would have to wait for 2-3 hours to get the power back on. I was told that my breaker was going bad and would be replaced. It took about 1 1/2 months to get the breaker replaced. Bay Breeze is a nice place to live. But for the price you will pay to live there you could be staying in audoban park for a few dollars more.
