I have lived here for over a year. Though there are some problems, I have found the management response to be excellent! I have received new carpet, flooring, and all new appliances. Maintenance response is also stellar - friendly and prompt. The rent is very reasonable and so you get a variety of people and income levels. The apartments are older. There were a few noise issues, but managment recently enacted a curfew for kids under 18 and now the nights are quiet and calm as can be. The dumpsters get full with overflow occasionally, but it doesn't last long.

Overall, the problems are relatively few and you can't beat the price or the proximity to the bay.

Update: I wrote the above review after my first year in the apartments. Thereafter, the owners changed property managers. I can not stress how HORRIBLE things became after. The noise, the vandalism, the breaking and entering, the thefts, AND the complete and utter lack of concern from the management. The WORST experience I have EVER had. I've moved - as any sane person would have done - but I still shudder when I reflect on my last 6 months in that hell. Amazing what a different and disgusting place it became when placed "Under New Management."
