Lake forest applied a new manager whose name is carolyn who goes by BULLDOG, on property site.
Since she became manager of the site things have gotten worse, every grounds man and maintenance person have quit because of the overtime to be put into correcting the mold and mildew problems in all units on the property. These properties are also roach invested and there are no filters for ac units and there are no dishwasher units working and they can not hire any new vendors without lying to them. If it was not for Abraham and janet that own MCdonalds, putting students from other countries these properties would be empty. Please BEWARE of the model apartment that carolyn will show you. Only ask to see the unit you will be renting. There also is a class action suit being brought against this property by all vendors for non-payment, Please call Brooks for further information. Nancy always treated me nice but when carolyn came things fell apart but when carolyn came things fell apart and now no one has a job.

If this is the same Carolyn that used to manage the place (a couple years ago), she is a million times better than the people who followed her! Carolyn supported the TENANTS, rather than cater to the maintenance personnel - If they didn't do their jobs, she hired someone else. She saw that I received new carpet, new tile, a new refrigerator, stove, and dishwasher! I lived there for some time and had a great experience, until Carolyn left. While she was there, Lake Forest Apartments was a family oriented community... Now it is nothing but over-crowded dormatories for foreign students, with 6-8 people per apartment! The noise at night was unbelievable, until 4 in the morning. And the "new management" did NOTHING about it! Honestly unlivable. If this is the "old" Carolyn, then there is hope for the place... And if it is a "new" Carolyn, she sure couldn't be any worse than the management she's replacing...
