We pay our rent on time every month and never complain, even though maintenance is never completed in a timely manner and the noise level around the complex is insaine. We leave the office staff alone because we don't want to burden them. We kow they stay busy enough with all the other problems in the complex. But the ONE time I call to make a complaint, I get nothing but attitude. I warn anyone reading this to STAY AWAY. If you do live here, do not live downstairs, be cautious of frequent drug users, and if something breaks be prepared to wait a few days to get it fixed.

I agree with the other people . I just moved out and i only had three months on my lease and they wanted to charge us 3,000 to get out of it. We complained about the noise, drugs downstairs, parking , and the grounds were just trashy. I would not let my kids play at the park due to broken beer bottles always on the ground. This place is a hazard and i wouldn't put a homeless person in these apartments.

You can't get out of a lease for FREE. You sign a leagal contact you abide by that contract. Why should someone let her out of her lease for FREE? Everyone has to pay for terminating a lease. When you don't let someone out of their lease for free, the above review is what you get. If she were let out FREE, what kind of review would have been written? I bet none at all!

Well, if that last response was posted by Mgmt, no wonder you are getting bad reviews. seems like an attitude adjustment is due. there is a more tactful way of putting it than that. Maybe someone should forward that to the mgmt. company. I thought this place was very "cute", but readin that made me more happy I chose elsewhere.

I want to post this to correct an incident on this website. Someone submitted a response under sbryson as a retailiation. The comment under sbryson is not correct. The situations typed out are fradulent and we are currently going to seek legal action against whoever had access to the computer that submitted the review. It is extremely neglagent that someone can submit something like this and have it posted with no fact checking done. Barstone is a very accomodating apartment complex. With apartment complexes you have to understand that perfection will never be attained, but the staff makes every effort to resolve all issues that may arise. This review stands as a warning to all who attempt to slander someone's good name by submitted lies under their initials. The internet is a wonderful tool, but when used inappropriately it can cause many problems for the victims. In closing, no review has been submitted by the actual tenents that lived in the apartment that the other review was referring to. J Bryson & S Bryson

Barstone is a total Dump-bad management--who aren't necessarily lazy-they just really like to have the power and make you wait -be it repairs or whatever-it is actually very disturbing how much they enjoy taking advantage of low income people because they know that they can not do much about it --Do not move there-They reel you in and then when the lease is signed--Bammm--You realize you are in tenant HELL!!!
