To anyone reading this please be aware that these apartment are terrible!! I moved in recently and am currently going through hell to get out. The area is trashy, there are a lot of stray cats and the place smells like garbage. We recently moved out due to the apartment being flea invested. When i woke up every morning i would have bite marks on my ankles and arms. I do not even own a pet!! The property manager gets an attitude when you try talking to her and i was told the day i moved in that the owner couldnt do anything about the bad carpet in the apartment since it was "an older building" which is a bunch of BS. Fleas from the previous owner or the crazy lady next door with many cats have laid their eggs in the carpet and there is no way of getting rid of them.. We had pest control come out twice to spray, we even flea bombed the place but still have fleas. Everyone gives you an attitude even the maintenance guys at Barstone, when you ask about something. These apartments are a nightmare! please beware and don't say i didn't warn you.

I have lived here at Barstone for almost 2 years and think that the complex as a whole is great. The office staff is always nice even when they are super busy, and the maintenace men stay busy but are always willing to help. I understand that if my maintenance problem is not an emergency, the staff will get to it as quickly as they can. Most residents don't realize that the maintenance does more than just fix what is wrong in the apartments. They have to clean the grounds, take care of the pool, scoop dog poop, and get the empty apartments ready to lease to new people. I feel bad for the people who are putting Barstone down, it is really a well ran, well maintained apartment complex.

I know you ar telling the truth and for some reason everytime someone tells the truth-The slumlord manager writes back-what kind of tenants would care about a bad review? It doesn't make sense--The Manager is soooo crazy and full of herself-I have never met someone so arrogant. She does not like to be told she is wrong or that something with the apartment needs to be fixed-now--she will take it out on you in some way if she thinks you are trying to undermine her authority in any way-really psychotic
