Lived here over 5 yrs. Heavy management turnover. Heavier tenant turnover. Prices are too high for the product, but its the only one in town that is not based on income AND has W/D connections. My kids "grew up" there and I asked often for paint colors to cover the signs of their existence from the walls. Was repeatedly told they would paint and don't worry. When we moved, we gave notice but changed it ue to delays with getting our house, and they accepted the change. Then they rented our unit anyway then called us back from out of town to come get our stuff out - since the people in the 1bd that wanted to transfer to 2bd could not wait. We at first said no, but management/owners were rude, unethical, and illegal in their actions, and had "politely" offered to move our stuff into storage for us-since we were out of state waiting for all the red snags to clear with the house(and would then be moving). We stopped and drove 10 hrs back that day(gas prices and all) to get everything out on such short notice, and did a quick cleaning. 5 days later, the unit is still vacant. At move out, we were penalized for wall prints/stains/kid stuff, carpet not being cleaned, 1 kitchen drawer we missed wiping down, and the unit over all not having been cleaned thoroughly enough. No mention of us having purchased and began replacing blinds and other tidbits that were easier for us to replace than to scrub. We planned to bring it as close to new as possilbe - IF we had time to plan the move and not be illegally evicted. We weren't asked for address to return our deposit, but we volunteered it and took pictures of everything. As of date - all our stuff is in storage except 3 suitcases and we are homeless pending final house papers beign done. They were aware of all circumstances up front, but they obviously didn't care. No care to the expense of the extra trips - since we're not hauling everything in a truck until we get keys in hand. But then again....the tenant and management turnover speaks volumes. My experience speaks even louder.
