let's see...i live alone in a 2 bedroom 1 bathroom and my power bill is always over $100 and my water bill is always at least $50 and this month it was $70! turns out they average the water use for the whole building. well i live alone, but there are families for 4 and 5 around me so i find that to be --------. my air conditioning has broken at least 7 or 8 times, most of which were during the summer. i had to call multiple times when there was a huge leak in my ceiling. i honestly thought the upstairs neighbor's toilet was going to fall through and it took them a month to come fix it. then when they actually got around to it, i came home from work to see that when they patched the hole they had put gobs of the leftover plaster in my damn sink! oh and the pool is always disgusting and dirty, the "fitness" room is a joke and i can't wait to get out of this place! two months to go!

The positive review on this site is from a person named Courtney who works here, she gave me the same spill when she was trying to talk me into this place, I moved here because it was closest to my new job, but it is aweful! Maintenance takes forever just like the other review says and the power and water is attrocious. Look for somewhere else! It is always very noisy here because there really are 4 or 5 families living in most of these apartments.

Totally agree. Have lived here over 2 years and will be leaving this time when my lease is up. Very sad because if renovated, or just cleaned up, this could be a great apartment. Way to many questionable people moving in, noise is horrible, buildings are in terrible repair. Water bill is outrageous. Take a very close look at the buildings, talk to some actual residents, get out and walk around on your own. It is an eye opening experience ! The new manager really seems to want to improve the comunity, but Engel is obiously not behind her, and has shown no sign of actually doing anything to improve the property. After this experience I would not consider any Engel property period.

I agree. I do disagree with the noise issue, to be so many people here, it is often quite. Parking is horrible. People park in the handicapp spots that do not even have a tag. There is a BAD bug problem. Several people in my building have said they have little roaches and so do we. We had to buy Combat to put out, and it still hasn't helped. The apartment was nasty when we moved in. They claimed they clean them beforehand but I beg to differ. The appliances are so out of date they are falling apart. I have a dog and thought the Doggy Playground would be great for her exercise...uh NO none of the gates close, you can't even let the dog off the leash, if you do you have a chance of it getting out the fence which is very close to the main road. Hopefully when our lease is up we will be able to afford something somewhere else. This place is ridiculous.
