Don't even think about renting here. I moved here after i accepted a job in birmingham, because "hoover" was suppose to be a nice place, but this apartment and Lorna road has taught me otherwise. The main reason that i moved here was for the assurance of a gated community, however the gate never worked and i was not informed and my rent was never prorated for this "missing amenity" that i was paying for. There are roaches everwhere, everyone has pets, and there are children running around all the time. This is not the place for you--- trust me.
