Colonial Grand at Galleria ( Colonial Properties) is now known as The Grand at Galleria ( Engel Properties).Engel took over in December 2006. I have been staying for almost a year, the first management has never done anything about the noise in my building and I call them several times to handle it but they never did. I call two weeks ago to the new management company and they said they woould put letters out to the whole building, but they never did. I am still listening to noise ( loud music) and have been since the time I have move in. It starts at 4pm and does not end sometimes to 11pm EVERY SINGLE DAY OF THE WEEK. I have yet to watch television in my living room since moving in. It is real irritiating to her loud music over one of my favorite programs. So I have just retreating to my bedroom and can hear in there as well. I have had a hard time studying and reading in any room in my apartment.That is not the only thing, I gave them back a key from a mailbox that did not work and I still yet to received a new key. The management is only concern about securing as many leases as they can in one given day. Engel has definitely gone up in price compared to Colonial. I am currently renting on special but that will end soon and I will be out.

So, have you knocked on your neighbor's door and asked them nicely to cool it? Or, you can always call the police, you know.

That's not the point...the person who posted this is doing what he should do. He is contacting his leasing office to let them deal with the problem because as landlords, that is what they are supposed to deal with. Calling the cops for a noise complaint is a bit much, don't you think? And it's more along the lines of the office said they aould do something and they haven't (surprise, surprise)
