I've lived in this complex for a year in August, after 30 years of "happy homeownership"...I've had almost NONE of the problems that the rest of these folks are having. Sure it took a couple of calls to get my air cooling properly, and the day I moved in the fool who was supposed to have installed my new carpet the day before still hadn't finished--but I was well taken care of, both by mangement and by the carpet people. The area my bulding is in is actually quieter than the neighborhood my house was in! My neighbors are friendly enough, without being nosy, we look out for each other, and none of them make much noise...I have found the staff to be both friendly and helpful, and most of the time professional. And I have and would recommend this complex to my friends--one of whom just moved there recently and is also happy.

You must be living in the new apartments. I noticed while I was living there that if you lived in the new apartments, you were treated a lot different than if you lived in the older apartments. The older ones are mainly rented out by --------, so I think the staff didn't really care about how they treated those tenants. I'm glad you like it there, but I will never, ever go back there. It was the worse place I've ever lived in.

She does not live in the new apartments (I'm the friend she mentions). She lives in the older ones with a lovely, serene view from her balcony. The new company has really improved the quality of the tenants here.

regardless...this place is not somewhere I would ever reccomend to people. I feel like I was lied to to get me to move there. Nothing in the complex works...has anyone ever gotten to use the sauna? And what has happened to the tanning beds?
