Our roof started leaking in 3 places after the hurricane in the Summer of 2008. We called and called and got the run around from the office staff and maintenance while the roof molded in the extra bedroom. When they finally came out almost a month later they did a patch job on the roof. NOw it is leaking again even worse. The maintenance crew is slow and not good at their jobs. The office staff are there just to tell you what you want to hear. We have been told by the office manager that Engel Properties are slum lords. They will rent to any trash that walks in the door and try to invest as little as possible into their properties all over town. Our neighbors are moving out as fast as possible. What hurricane in 2008? I don't recall us having any significant storms from a hurricane come through B'ham in 2008.
