The apartment itself isn't that bad, but the management and staff are useless. If you have a problem expect weeks or months before it gets looked into, if at all. A lot of rain in the late months of the year caused water damage in my closet. The whole closet carpet was soaked and the walls started to mildew. I informed them abotu this problem in November. Called twice and have went up there and it is now almost March.

Well, help is coming. Our old owners went bankrupt, putting us into foreclosure. Our new owners and managers outed Engel (hurrah!!!!) and are in the process of improvements all around. Just hang in there for all the paperwork and purchasing to finish. The staff are already much happier with the benefits package they are getting as compared to Engel's lousy package.

Words are good but actions are better. This complex has a very bad rap and there are a lot of apartments and we'll see what the new owners do, if they can back up their words.

I am the person who wrote the original post an the previous one. We all got the letter stating the new management group took over Jan.6. well i have phone records on jan 14, and 15th when i called and told them about my mold problem. Still nothing was done.I even went down there and spoke face to face with the staff and still nothing. it has ruined furniture and they refuse to pay for it. I have been paying for a two bedroom apt with only access to one bedroom. The NEW management is just a bad as the old management.
