I know every apartment will have complaints but believe me when I say that the people who are paid to take care of you and your needs a.k.a the management staff are extremely unprofessional. They are there to collect their paycheck and go home while the tenants are trying to live in their "homes" with mold growing all over the walls. I sent a lab report off with various samples of mold form my bedroom and closet,after thorough review the test results showe there were 6, thats right six, forms of mold with two being deadly if you breathe long enough and four that cause bronchiol spasms. What did the management staff (new management staff Epogee)think about this, NOTHING! They simply let us out of the lease, and then try to charge us for the carpet being dirty..... I wonder why the carpet was dirty.... robably from walking in a room for 6 months that when it rained out, the carpet would become soaked and the mold would contineue to grow. At our check out, the staff member laughed in our face and told us we would be getting the bill. The bill is not my concern but the way the whole situation was handled with the old management group and new management group. They are their to collect your money and charge your account with penalty payments but for the ones of us who day pay our rent usually a week before it is due; we must suffer and look forward to when our lease will end. Great Floorplans but this is no good when you can only use 1/2 of your home due to health violations. I was looking at a few apartments when I was released form my lease until I discovered the same management company manages most of the complexes around Hoover. I moved to Vesatvia and will continue to run from any management company who treats their tenants with unprofessional actions.

Yep, we're looking for a house to rent this fall at the end of our lease too.
